Kat---I'm embarrassed. Nice of you to say. But it's always been my "job"---as I've viewed it---to pass on the songs. I hope I don't forget I sent those to you & asend 'em again. Ask Dan Milner---I really did send him that old "River" tape twice. He bought it the first time. A few weeks later I'd forgotten all about that. I thought I was just thanking him for that beautiful Iceland video I bought from him in our auction. But this sin't worth of a whole thread, kid. Again, thanks.

The tape i dubbed for kat was a concert Fred Holstein, Jim Craig & I had done in Chicago on Woody's birthdat---at Holstein's folk club---a bar on the North side o' town (across from the Biograph Theater where John Dilinger was killed. A friend made a bunch of money pounding lead fishing weights into the wooden telephone pole there and selling 'em to tourists after digging those out of the pole & telling them it was buckshot from that caper......but I digress.

We did those "Woody" shows for several years & they were great fun. Fleming Brown did some of the early ones with us---Ginni Clemmens too...but I thought the ones with the 3 of us were pretty good.

And Kat, Corol loves the necklace you made for her!!
