Hmmm...I stopped listening to it to be honest, I do find it very samey and, as many have said above, the request shows are a bit of a joke!.

However, for all the constructive criticism I've seen over the past few years, of both Mike Harding's show and the attitude of the BBC toward traditional music in general (on both their own discussion boards and elsewhere) NOTHING ever seems to change!. OK they gave Eliza Carthy a WHOLE hour and half (!) to cover the entire British folk revival (!!) earlier this year...but that hardly redresses the balance does it??.
