Do y'all know the difference between a sociologist and a musicologist?

One says, "There ain't but four hundred (400) tunes in the whole world, and everything -- from tribal chant thru Gregorian, Verdi, Wagner, Sondheim -- is a development of those."

The other one says, "There ain't but forty (40) tunes in the whole world, and..." (ditto, etc.)

I forget which is which.   Tw
