I prefer the Archie Fisher show on Radio Scotland. Whilst he does not play a lot of south of Engand folk music he has more variety in terms of the less well known Scottish and Irish bands. He had a good interview with Jez Lowe last week and he seems to feature a lot of stuff about events in Scotland.

I listen to MH each week just to hear whats going on as out here in China folk music programmes are as rare as rocking horse pooh.
