I can only echo the other voices that have said what a superb programme this was. It was an honour to share a short time with Bob and his family, even though it was on TV. Having been brought up in Sussex the Copper family were always there in the background along with many other source singers of the time. The tears came at the funeral. I had seen the stills but to see the procession through the town tugged at the heart strings. Forget the arguing about being a purist or how many times it was shown, just be thankful, and proud, that we had someone of his calibre in our tradition and that we still have the family to carry it on.
