Thread Name: Bobert's Impressions of Getaway 2004...
Subject: RE: Bobert's Impressions of Getaway 2004...
I figure it is only a matter of time before Bobert converts and finds himself a Getaway regular. I mean, this guy has a resonator guitar, but it's missing two bass strings. Whoever heard of a resonator tenor guitar? Having spent a little time with Bobert, you-all should know that like many West Virginians he is a spinner of tale tales, so take that West Ginnie slide rule with a grain of salt.

I sat in on Bobert's Blues Styles workshop and know he loves the blues. He also sat in on the blues jam workshop. He played a blues he wrote hisself which he said he wrote for a friend of his who was entering a songwriting contest. And I always thought you entered your own songs in a songwriting contest. They do things different in West Virginia.

I hope ever'one takes this thread as an opportunity to tell the truth about the 40th annual FSGW Getaway.
