Maybe...but I'm not sure it's jealousy and resentment - with me it's more a sort of embarrasment. Liverpool's like the uncle that the family never speaks of and who you only see at weddings and funerals; the life and soul of the party but you know he's going to get pissed, break a few things and probably end up lamping the priest.
