Actually this isn't Ron, it's Jan, just wanted to say how sad I am that I missed this years Getaway. I was so looking forward to it, as Ron and I have some great duets worked out now. We were so looking forward to singing them at various workshops and the concerts.
I missed Ron dreadfully all weekend, but I am so glad that he went and had such a wonderful time as he always does. I didn't however, miss the cold damp condtions of Camp Ramble Wood. Ron came home dressed in seven layers of various T-shirts, sweatshirts and sweaters and topped it all off with a water proof jacket! Now I was pretty cold here without him, as he is my incredibly warm and toasty, life sized furry teddy bear, and I really missed not having him to cuddle up with at night.

Unfortunately I was not at all well enough to go to the Getaway this year, after weeks of looking forward to it. Rats I say, but hopefully I will be OK for next year. I told Ron to go without me as I would have hated for him to have missed all the fun too. Of course next year I expect the Getaway to be held in warm sunny Hawaii, so that I too don't have to wear seven layers!

Oops, Ron has just walked in, so I had better go and give this space back to him. I am so glad that you all had such a wonderful time.
