I think there is a stipulation in the New Testament somewhere that you have to come to Him with the eyes of a newborn child, be born again into innocence and freedom from sin, in order to be able to see.

But so many of his original statements have been twisted into hard policies meaning something else altogether that I won't vouch for any of it.
