Political power is one of the most powerful aphrodisiacs around. You have certainly heard about the antics that politicians and their mistresses and spouses and lovers get up to over the decades in D.C. An example, Rita Jenrette and her husband on the steps of the capitol (that wasn't what got him into trouble, it was the shoe box full of cash she found in the closet). Some of them get caught, most of them don't. I don't make a big deal about it, and while I think he was dumb to get involved with someone like Lewinski (talk about a dame who could blab!) there are other things that are far more serious that politicians do. Like putting as many human lives on the line as Bush has done. Sex is not in the same league as war.
