Click on the link in my last post, dianavan; we've had that discussion, remember? You admitted you were making things up, and you continue to lie. Again, think of the misinformation about Iraq that led to popular support for the current war. And the irrational ("they blew up the Buddha!!!!"), rabid anti-Taleban sentiments before 9/11 that led to a hardening of Americans' opinions on Afghanistan, and the consequences. (Uh, 9/11?) And note that most of the misinformation in both cases was supplied by disgruntled opposition and exile groups. Sound familiar?

Listen, if you're truly passionate about improving human rights in Iran, and I think you are, good for you. You should be. Do something about it. Parroting falsehoods on a folk music forum isn't helping the people of Iran. Once a-fucking-gain, educate yourself. Read everything that you can find on Iran, positive, negative, and most importantly, neutral. Meet a variety of people in or involved with Iran, in person, through the mail, online, wherever. Or, if possible, why not save up and visit Iran, and see what's happening for yourself? Don't just sit there, Bush-like, refusing to admit that you're totally fucking wrong in just about everything you have to say on this subject. Do something, if you care so much.
