To piggyback on SRS, one of the reasons why Clinton was acquitted of Perjury charges was that his definition of "sex" was not only in line with the prosecution's, but with Lewinsky's as well. In the Tripp tapes, where Monica did NOT know she was being taped, she said "We didn't even come close to having sex. We fooled around." I think within her generation (which includes me; I'm less than 10 years older than she is, I think) this is a common definition, and most people would not consider a BJ to be "having sex."

So to respectfully disagree with Brucie, when you say:

In fact it DID work. The prosecution had defined Sex in a certain way: he had to be touching certain parts of her body (mouth mysteriously excluded) with certain parts of his body, with the intention of giving sexual pleasure. So all he had to do was claim

1) it was only a blowjob (which by all accounts was true)
2) any other touching (with the hands, etc) was in his mind exclusively for his pleasure, not hers (which cannot be disproved)

and he did not "have sex" with her, as defined by THE PROSECUTION.

This may be a technicality, but it was perfectly legal, and in fact he was acquitted of all perjury charges because everything he said was technically true.

That doesn't make it RIGHT, and as he admitted later on, he had an "inappropriate" relationship with her and slept on the couch for a good while.
