Hi Kendall & Jacqui

I have this delicious image of Jacqui peeping Chad-like from behind a Dreadnought - "Wot, no tune?"

Despite my bulk, I have taken to playing a 000-16CGTE. The tone and volume are up there with my dreadnoughts, and it takes up less space at crowded sessions. These new lower-end Martins are pretty good and will obviously be cheaper over there.

Alternatively, if you want a less expensive small-ish guitar - you could seek out a current Washburn Parlor or WG2S model. Made in China maybe, but those I have seen and played have been well made and finished and here they cost less than 20% of the cost of a Martin equivalent.

Elizabeth and I have our "engagement" guitar, a 1968 Yairi classical, you two could have a "wedding" guitar. Just buy one that "rings"!
