Whilst we moan at the content of the Mike Harding show (Mike once told me that if he had the choice then his playlist would be somewhat different), don't forget that the BBC is making local radio programmes accessible via the internet. North West England is well served by having a folk programme on all three of its stations and other stations around the country have their own folk progs.

No I don't work for the BBC but I've been on various folk programmes a few times in the past. If you listen to the programmes then write and tell them that you do. It's the only way that station managers know that we're interested.
