Oh come on, you guys. Here is the link to the editor page. Pat Buchanan is at the top. Doug is right about the influence of Buchanan on this magazine. He has not been a Republican loyalist for years, and has been in the independent/3rd party camp for quite some time. He really wants to hurt the neo-cons and other Republican appeasers who have consistently refused to back his runs for the presidency.

You are also completely misrepresenting what the editorial staff did. This magazine DID NOT ENDORSE JOHN KERRY.

If you follow the links to the American Conservative site, it becomes plain as day that the magazine hasn't endorsed Kerry, and you are just being disingenuous about this. The magazine has a different writer arguing for votes for several different candidates, and for not voting: articles endorsing Bush, Kerry, Nader, Peroutka (Constitution Party), Badnarik (Libertarian), and an article on not voting at all.

I note you didn't claim the magazine was endorsing Nader. Coincidence? Honest mistake? I think not.
