My system had slowed to a crawl the last couple of days, and I did a shakeup this afternoon. AdAware and Spybot Search and Destroy. They came up with several nasties I hadn't seen before. I suspect it's the browsing I've been doing that have to do with the politics of the day, following links to sites I wouldn't normally have visited. Anyway, the computer is up and running much faster, the purge was time well spent.
