Today is voting day in California and one of the measures on the ballot has to do with getting rid of fees charged by banks for using ATM machines. The fees are usually charged if you are not a customer of that particular bank. Apparently enough people are dissatisfied with this that it made a ballot measure. Pretty wierd. That aside, I like the convenience of having a checking acct card, though I am sometimes fearful of having it taken away by force. then I realize that just being alive is pretty risky business and so i relax and enjoy again.
