There's a whole slew of songs which use this same structure, everything from Bessie Smith's "Electric Chair Blues" to Jimmie Rodgers' "Nobody Knows But Me." Even Robert Johnson does it, in his only ragtime tune, "Hot Tamales." Blake ("Skoodle Doo Doo"), McTell ("Real Kind Mama," "Razor Ball," "Come On Around to My House Honey" -- he claims to have written the original version, though my favorite is the reworking by Durwood Brown and the Brownies), and Buddy Moss, among others, and Fuller did this about a dozen times, always with entertainingly dirty lyrics ("What's That Smells Like Fish?", "Throw Your Yas-Yas Back in Jail," "Piccolo Rag").

I first learned it in the 60s as "If I Can't Sell It, Gonna Keep Sitting On it (Never Catch Me Giving It Away)."

"Walk Right In" is a close relative though the break is a little different.
