Thank you so much Carol, Mick, freda and Animaterra. Yes freda it was a very moving ceremony in a typically relaxed rural-Aussie way. It began by the mayor stating that, "We acknowledge the Indigenous owners of the land on which we stand." Went on to a short speech about keeping alive the culture and customs of the land of your birth. About not giving up ties with that country. Finished up by saying how proud and pleased we all were in welcoming the new citizen. We all clapped and I kissed True-Love and everyone clapped again. The mayor said, "Get a picture of that!" Joy
