Amazing how the world works and how insignificant the power of the U.S. seems in light of these developments.
Russia will take care of Iran's spent nuclear fuel and China will buy Iranian oil. That certainly puts a stop to U.S. aggression or at least, I hope so.
On the other hand - I'm not sure about Russia, but Iran and China have a piss-poor record on human rights, especially when it comes to religion.
Georgie boy must be freaking out! China's economic growth coupled with their need for oil almost guarantees that the U.S. will not have access to Iranian oil. In fact, my guess is that they will not have much access to the middle east, period. Israel had better start behaving in a neighborly fashion.
Unfortunately, the U.S. will now turn their attention to Canadadian oil. Canadians and Americans on the east coast had better help protect our west coast environment and ignore the empty promises of job creation and short-term economic projections based on 'false economy'. The next war will probably be between environmentalists and the neo-cons. Please do not ignore the planet.
