The South is quite a situation. Lots of good things there, but some some very strange attitudes....and there are several 'souths'...Mississippi & Alabama and parts of Georgia and Texas are different from the Carolinas and Arkansas and Tennessee in many ways, and Louisiana is different yet...and Oklahoma is sorta half south and half west, and half MID-west.

I do know that I could simply never live in most of the south, as I would get my mouthy self beat up, or maybe shot withing a few months...or explode trying to keep my mouth shut! The ARE places in N. Carolina or maybe Florida I could tolerate...but Florida is not exactly Dixie, huh?

It's funny, but I can remember when a lot of the South used to vote Democratic, but the issues have polarized the country somethin' fierce!
