From own experience let me tell you: I have seen so many people die, held some speeches for good friends at the grave, and mostly handled them well mastering my grief. And then - suddenly - the last time I was overwhelmed by grief and had to pause till my tears stopped. This goes well with a speech, but not with a song. You can't stop it and start again.
