I was having problems with my computer locking up, running slow. There were strange icons, yellow hyperlinks inviting me to date, apply for credit cards, etc. I ended up bringing my computer to a shop. I upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP, added memory, Norton System Works and the Ad-Aware program. It didn't cost me as much as I was afraid to give it to an experienced person and it seems to be running much better so far.
