call me a miseryguts but I hate Flash - mainly because too many people on broadband don't realise how long it takes on 56k and usually you see sod all for 5 minutes before you are invited to downlod Flash. NO WAY.

A message to all flashers - try a bit of HTML that will allow you to by-pass the flash page - and tell them why they are waiting.

OK Cluin 5/10 - for the by-pass button that is not so obvious. The HTML page takes a long time on 56K too (I average about 45K).

But enjoy the creative part - Macromedia in the Dreamweaver Help files reckon that most surfers will give-up after 8 seconds, (Folkies may wait longer). I bet they don't point that out in the Flash help files.
