In days when I used to go caving (late 70's early 80's) there were a song I used t' sing called I'm off caving. it were sung t' tune of Bye, bye Blackbird.

1st lines were;
             Pack up all me gear tonight
             My wetsuit, me boots & light
             For I'm off caving.

the gist of it was a tale of getting pissed and no caving being done.

I first saw it in a caving club song book, not sure which club it was, think it was a university club, that used stop at the Bradford Pothole cottage at Brackenbottem (nr. to Horton in Ribblesdale).

Anyone heard of it.
