You are a dream I cannot now forget,
Though I awake. Your eyes remain a part
Of my desires, to stay within my heart:
I find no reason to my dream upset.
I offer now this heart, that you might let
Some part of me be held. I seek the touch
Of your concern: Do I ask for too much,
That I should fear you will your smile regret?
You are my muse, and more, my friend, to lend
Your visions to dreams and my verse. The sight
That thought of you provides guides me towards joy.
Should I ask more of you than to smile send?
I wish that I might someday spend a night
In conversation: Would you with heart toy?
