The Republicans, we are now told, are smarter. They also have higher "moral grounds" than the average bear. So how come they are smart and morale enough to premeditatedly use the worlds largest blunt instrument, the U.S. Army, against a third rate power who had not attacked, and in doing so, perfectly sanguinely, committed atrocities and murder against tens of thousands of civilians.

This is just drivel. The notion that intelligence is to be claimed by any group of people so committed to barbarism, whether because they are fed false information or because they are in unreasoning panic, or because they are just plain stupid or even evil (the least likely of explanations) is absurd on the face of it.

A
