Glad you came through it ok, Bruce. It sounds like the weather god was as much on your side as he was on anyone's, and you got a few good stories to tell out of it all.

My folks (in Navarre...not Navarre Beach, thanks to whoever) had a blue tarp on the roof for a few weeks, but now have a new roof courtesy of their insurance company. They are about 2 blocks off of the sound, but the storm surge only came up one block so they had minimal water damage...hole in roof flooded the closet my mother keeps the "expensive" coats she never wears in. They also have a few trees down, but they missed the house...it was an ugly fence, anyway. They are headed out this way in a couple of weeks and will be doing some house hunting; they say that at 83 and 85 they're getting too old to evacuate once or twice a year and not know what they're coming home to.
