I would feel better if I could believe Uncle Sam was just a clever parody. However, Mudcat parodies are not so consistent and so deep in my heart I start feeling he means what he says and too many people think alike in the USA.

Well, once the USA was looked upon with admiration around the world for several values like freedom, democracy and several other ideals which were deplorably scarce in the world outside of the USA. Now we look with admiration (on a technical level) at the weapons arsenal.
