There are two interestsing columns in the New York Times today. At least I assume they ran today in that paper as they were carried today by our local newspaper. One (Headline:Democrats shouldn't pander to latest whims) was written by Bob Herbert, obviously a liberal, and the other (Headline:Liberals have lost touch with a nation unfamiliar to them)was written by David Brooks, a conservative.

I agree with Mick that James Carville is a savvy guy when it comes to politics, but IMO he is nowhere as savvy as Karl Rove.
