To my brothers and sisters who served and didn't come home, I miss you, and honor you to this day.

To my brothers and sisters who served and did come home, it is up to us to continue to see to it that folks understand us.

We don't celebrate war. Most of us detest it in a way that only those that have seen it is all its ugliness can.
