The Remembrance Day Assembly at our elementary school is a very solemn occasion and we all wear black and white with red poppies. The students recite their poems for soldiers young and old and the choir sings. We also have a band that plays. We invite the Legionaires and it very hard not to cry. It is a tradition, and it will stay.
