Gee, Rick, you're making me depressed. You remind me of the countless crooked politicians and businessmen who have had public religious conversions under the guidance of some pop guru or television evangelist. Oftentimes, the converted version of the crook is worse than the original. Makes me wonder if bad people can ever really reform. Actually, I think they do, but I think that the people who really change their lives do so much more quietly and less dramatically.
