Just a suggestion - and not meaning to sound like Pollyanna - it REALLY matters where you look ... allowing the predominant media (as currently constructed) to focus your attention is a recipie for depression. choose your own windows into the world. the good almost always outweighs the bad - it just doesn't make "good" news.
