Sheila and I usually rent a Landmark Trust (http://www.landmarktrust.org.uk/)property for our Easter break. This year we are staying in the neo-classical Pigsty at Robin Hood's Bay in Yorkshire. We've done York, Castle Howard etc in previous visits to the county and we expect to spend our days walking and evenings chilling out and eating in. Looking at the map the environs look pretty empty but any suggestions for places to visit (especially wet weather ones- we're usually jinxed) and any music venues we might visit- we won't want to drive far once we've got there)would be appreciated. I will leave the washboard at home so you'll be safe!
