AIUI Mozilla is a full suite with browser, mail client, composer etc rather like a newer version of Netscape Communicator.

Mozilla Firefox is a browser only, you would need a separate email client such as Mozilla Thunderbird or whatever.

So I guess it depends on your needs. I'd imagine that Firefox and the browser part of Mozilla are very similar in functionality.

But I may stand corrected.
