Your story is a familiar one to me, GUEST. It is normal for the winners of these various wars to sanitize and propagandize every incident in their own favour after the fact. Some of their soldiers who were there at the time know better... The truth is that all the armies involved committed murders and atrocities. Sometimes by accident. Sometimes by carelessness. Sometimes by deliberate policy.
