I agree with you Carol. The Mudcat has given me the opportunity to get together with people that I otherwise would never have met. I now have good friends in Australia, Alaska and many parts of the USA and UK. I took it further and married a Mudcatter, after meeting through the forum!

I think that, unless one is not intending to ever meet other Mudcatters, it is important to be yourself on the forum - and to have respect for the opinions and feelings of others. That way we never will be strangers when we actually meet, and I hope to meet a lot more Mudcatters in the future, as well as getting back together with the friends I've already met.
