So, do any of y'all know the source/details on the old camp song about canoeing? (Yes, I did check the database first, without luck.) It went something like:Swiftly the paddles ply,

Dip, dip and swing.We were told this was a Newfoundland song, but since it had pretty clearly been passed along a few times, I was never quite sure.
