My husband was driving me down to the dentists a couple of days ago, and we passed a roundabout covered in roadworks. They had a huge mobile generator [one of the sort that's quite capable of powering a full rock concert], but what were they using it for? They were boiling a kettle...! Not an urn - a small, white domestic kettle.
