Going to play a wedding reception at the Hotel Syracuse. As I stood on the corner of Warren and Harrison Streets I could see the Bride emerging the Limo at the Warren Street entrance. She'd shut her train and the back of her dress in the limo door and got not to very far towards the the door. And looking towards the loading bay on Harrison I could see two Men in white coats looking at a stack of cake boxes upside down on the sidewalk. It reminded me of a Gluyas Williams cartoon from The New Yorker. The rest of the night went as you might expect.Don
