I listened to the Frank Blevins recording, and that third verse has me stumped, too. I did hear a few things differently than Richie did, however:

"how can I roll" rather than "how I gonna roll"
"wheel" rather than "wheels" (I don't know why.)
"baby, for my size" rather than "buddy, for my size"
