okay - I have found this out....you get far fewer "breaks" in a mediaring message if after the first time through you break your internet connection and play it with as little open on your computer as possible. It should be possible to record using sound recorder as you playback, but my computer doesn't have enough memory to run mediaring and sound recorder at the same tiem, so I wasn't able to check that out.
