There has been a steady erosion of women's civil rights for the past 30 years, and it doesn't just have to do with women's reproductive freedoms. I really can't imagine anything more regressive than the Clinton welfare reform bill for poor women. There is still no move towards dealing with pay inequities between men and women, and women's real pay is eroding at an alarming rate as well.
