Does anyone out there have any information on the Essex (Ingrave) singer Mary Ann Humphreys? Vaughan Williams recorded her in 1909, on wax cylinder (see 'A Century of Song' EFDSS CD02)and the only other thing that I know is that she learned many/most/all of her songs fom her family (see Palmer, 1983).
