Could it be 'Small Miracles', the title track of the like-named CD? I only have a small part of the words, but these are Eric's notes:[1997:] Written for Rosie and Sandy - Rosie for her continuing indomitable battle to overcome obstacles that would crush a less courageous spirit, and Sandy for showing what can be achieved. Watching Sandy operate the joystick on her electric wheelchair with one hand, hold down a frantically squirming Rosie with the other, and suck a stubby of beer through a straw at the same time, was to behold an awesome feat of co-ordination. (Eric Bogle, notes 'Small Miracles')
This is a verse:
She may not walk like she should do
She may not talk like she ought to
Sometimes the anger and the pain show through
In her frustrated eyes
But when she smiles at me, I can see
The little girl who lives in Rosie's eyes
