Alice, this is similar to the song Marianne Faithful sang on the Chieftain's " The Long Black Veil". Her voice isn't what it was when she was a sweet young thing, before she fell into the hands of Mick Jagger, but it is entirely suitable for the song.There are other verses, but I've lent that CD and don't have it at the moment.
