tarheel performs every saturday morning 9:00 am to 11:00 am,est, at the downtown cinema,in mt.airy,n.c..it's free to the public...it's an open jam but he is part of the chore group that performs there every week and a back-up musician for anyone else eho wants to perform too!
also at 11:00 am to 1:30 pm,est,the WPAQ merry-go-round,LIVE stage show presnts local and regional old time and bluegrass bads ,live on the radio from the stage of the downtown cinema! hosted by Clyde Johnson,it's one of the longest LIVE radio shows being broadcst in the nation today!it's been going on since 1948,and still features some of the best groups in the region, bluegrass and old time bands!
it's also free ,to the public!
