The State is a lovely venue for this event. As a kid I spent many, many wonderful hours within its walls. I blew my allowance on so many great movies there. And then collected pop bottles to cash in so that I could afford see even more. I saw movies like "Bell, Book and Candle", "Perry" (a Disney film about the life of a squirrel - I wish it was available as a video), "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof", "Old Yeller", "Forbidden Planet" and countless others. When I first started going there, they showed such shorts as the Buck Rogers adventures and the Charlie Chan mysteries. Years later I came back to see "Star Wars" there when it was first released. I am pleased to see this magical place is still in use - and am especially glad that it will be the place for such good music. I hope to be there.
