Aren't grandmothers wonderful? When my grandmother was 90 she fell and broke her hip. As they were lifting her onto the stretcher a nurse commented about the queen mother having also done that recently my grandmother said "Oh should I wave?" Then a young doctor patted her gently on the shoulder and said "Not to worry, lots of elderly ladies brreak their hips." My grandmother replied that she may be elderly but she'd never been a lady.
